Reposting for those of you who missed it the first time! 😁 Thanks to those wonderful algorithms, we know our posts aren’t always seen. So, here it is……

We have been putting this off for as long as we can. The time has come to let you, our friends, family, and loyal customers know that we have made the difficult decision to close Olde Virden’s Tennessee Pepper Co. It has been an exciting, scary, joyous, stressful, and incredible ten years. We took our product further than we knew possible. Our customers kept us going during the difficult times. Unfortunately, it has become more apparent that the industry has become less supportive of small brands like ours. We are tired and don’t have any more fight left in us. As we have gotten older, it is apparent life is too short and it’s time to live it. We are excited about this next chapter and seeing what unfolds.

Here’s the good news! We have a lot of product. We kept our commitments to our farmers this past summer, so we stock piled plenty of peppers. We will take the next few months to sell what we have left. So, it’s time to stock up. We will continue to sell as long as we have product available.

Thanks again for an amazing 10 years! You, our customers, made this journey such an amazing experience.
