Knox Whiskey Works is a small batch, craft distillery based exclusively in Downtown Knoxville, TN. Our mission is to harness the collective skill, passion and expertise of East Tennessee and pour this passion into authentic, distinct and delicious hand-crafted spirits.

Knoxville! We’ll be at the 13th Annual Knox Asian Festival this year participating in the TN Whiskey Trail experience with other distilleries, and special guest Yoshi from the Good Ole Tennessee Bar! There will be a rendition of his Volunteer-themed bar back home in Tokyo.

We’re super excited to be sampling and selling our product along with tastings of our Asian-inspired cocktail, The Velvet Blossom. It features our Tennessee Valley Vodka, Fleur De Vie Elderflower Liqueur, Mango Nectar, Lychee Puree and fresh lime!

The distillery’s new seasonal cocktail menu is here, and you know what that means. We got a fresh mini cocktail flight for you!

Sip up the last bits of summer with 6 new drinks featuring a variety of our hand-crafted spirits including our Tennessee Tailgate Orange Vodka (GO VOLS!), the botanical Jackson Avenue Gin, a barrel-finished Dry Gap Gin, our top seller Dragon Tail Honey Habanero Whiskey, an un-aged Old City Heirloom Corn Whiskey, and the Three Rivers Maple Rum.

We forgot about this barrel when we filled it 5 and a half years ago!!

Okay, not really. But on January 19th, 2021, we placed some of our dry gin into this American oak barrel for a little “time out”, and today it finally learned its lesson. In a world where everyone wants everything five minutes ago, we’re out here taking half a decade to make one batch 🥃🥹

Did you know we sell our used barrels? We actually have a barrel wait list you can sign up for whenever you visit the distillery. They usually range from 15, 30, & 53 gallons. We contact you when some become available so you have first dibs! Currently, we have two 53 gallon whiskey barrels waiting to be claimed. $100 a piece. Call us or visit during business hours if you’re interested.

✨ Reminder to grab your bottles for the holiday weekend! ✨

We will be closed for July 4th, but we’re running normal hours today and Sunday. So when you stop by the distillery, join us for a drink, a tasting, a tour, or just hang out with us! We have a very, very cold tasting room and that’s set to 67 degrees right now…have we convinced you yet?!

Knox Whiskey Works is a fun, upbeat tasting room that serves not only classic cocktails, but cocktails with a twist! We serve spirit flights and cocktail flights, while also giving engaging content about the spirits we provide.

Additionally, we offer distillery tours on the weekends!
Our ideal associates are proactive, detailed oriented, personable, and committed to delivering a memorable experience to every guest.

As Knoxville’s first legal distillery this is a great job for anyone looking to expand their knowledge in handcrafted spirits and cocktails.

Available positions:
• Tasting Room Associate - Part Time
- Thursday-Sunday availability preferred, with emphasis on Saturday, and occasional Monday-Wednesday when needed.

West Knoxville! We’ll be at Total Wine tomorrow, 6/20, from 11am - 2pm! We’ll have some of our most popular spirits available to taste and sample…and BUY!

We’ll also have some complimentary tasting cards for when you visit the distillery and free koozies to hand out to the first batch of people to visit us.
