Hartman Family Farms We are a fourth generation family farm with the fifth generation waiting in the wings. The first generation started farming in the 1800s.

David Hartman currently runs the farm operation, assisted by his 4 sons when they are not working at their other jobs. Most of our farm operation is in Howard County, but a little bit is in both Cass and Carroll Counties. We are looking to expand our operation so that some of David's sons can come back to the farm with him on a full time basis.
