Visit us inside Marty’s Place Market & Kitchen, where we offer beef raised right here in Howard County. One of our farms is located just 5 miles from the store.

Our beef is processed at Tier One Meat Co. in Flora, Indiana. It is not shipped across the country or stored in distant warehouses. It moves directly from the processor to the store.

We offer:

🥩 Local M&H raised beef retail cuts
🐖 Local M&H raised pork cuts
🍗 Select Indiana- farm raised chicken products, including chicken breasts and whole chickens
📦 Bulk freezer beef, available by the quarter, half, or whole beef

All M&H products are sold frozen. We do not sell fresh meat because our processor provides our products frozen.

One of our farms is right at 4 miles from the store, so when we say local, we mean LOCAL! Our beef is raised right here in Howard County, Indiana, along with our local pork. We’re also offering Indiana-raised chicken.

Everything is vacuum sealed and inspected by the Indiana State Board of Animal Health (BOAH).

M&H is back inside Marty’s Place, and we’re bringing even more to the table 🍔🥩

M&H Cattle Co. will be selling frozen retail cuts of local beef, high-quality, and straight from local farms.

The freezers will be stocked and ready for you to take home your favorite cuts!

We’re also excited to introduce our very own M&H Hometown Classic Burger 🍔—a true local favorite made with M&H beef and packed with hometown flavor!

Well, we picked up another 6 inches of rain, and the water at this pasture is HIGH. The cows seem content and are staying on the high ground, but we honestly don’t know how the floodgates are holding up.

Everything is underwater in spots, and the water has risen 17 feet. It’s absolutely crazy to see how much water is moving through here.

We’re keeping a close eye on the cows and hoping this water starts going down soon. 🙏🏼🐄
