It is with a heavy heart that I have to let everyone know that we lost our Spiceman on Saturday. Spicy had twisted his colon and after having emergency surgery he was doing well. The next morning the doctor from the equine hospital called and told me that due to complications from after his surgery he passed. I am a loss for words how much we loved him. He was truly a one in a trillion kind of horse. So from this point on Mathis Quarter Horses is no longer a breeding facility but just a regular farm. Spicy will never be replaced and always hold a part of our hearts! Run wild and free my big boy! Love you always and forever!!!
