Day in the life:

Mason left for work around 6am. This morning I had milking coverage, so I got to spend a slower morning with the family than when milking falls to me.

Most of today was order prep for our deliveries to Lewiston, Moscow, and Coeur d’Alene tomorrow.

It was a whirlwind day trying to get all the cheese and kefir packaged while juggling kids that needed extra attention today.

Ran to the post office to send milk samples to the lab for our monthly analysis. Had a couple minute break to knit in the car before I met a friend who had a bag of new feed for us to try.

This afternoon was more cheese and kefir. Mason got home and got to work getting ready to bring home another load of hay after work tomorrow.

Now we’re getting ready for dinner, but there’s still garlic and chive cheese to package before bed tonight.

Tomorrow will start with milking at 5am, orders out the door around 9, and hopefully a slower day ☀️

It’s local delivery day, check the shelves!

💙Kamiah Cloninger’s - raw goat milk, cheese, and kefir. Look for it on the end cap of the produce aisle, across from the eggs.

💚Kooskia Cloninger’s - raw goat milk, cheese, and kefir. Also across from the eggs/conventional milk.

💜Steelhead Market in Stites - raw goat milk, cheese, and kefir (also currently the only place other than the farm you can get cheesecake cheese 😉). We’re in the dairy case at the back

Just a quick reminder that most stores don’t stock raw products near pasteurized milk, so if you don’t see our milk or cheese - ask for it!

Fair, I wrote it not quite awake this morning 😅

We have bulk, plain chevre available at a discount if you buy it by the pound ☺️

Great opportunity to make some cheesecake, or cinnamon rolls with cream cheese frosting. Or just a way to stock up on some local cheese made without all the junk.

It freezes beautifully, keeping its flavor and texture after it thaws.

$25/pound while our oversupply lasts
