Mary & Skip Badiny, who for over 35 years, have toiled on a labor of love they call Maranatha Farm. Five of their fifty-three acres have been laboriously and lovingly sculpted into some of the most beautiful gardens that this gardener has had the pleasure to see. The diversity of the gardens range from gorgeous beds of flowering plants and shrubs with winding pathways leading to hidden, shady nooks to the large raised-bed vegetable and fruit gardens and year-round greenhouse from which Skip and Mary now make their living. They have truly made it a delight in every sense.

The Badiny’s are both Christians and Ozarkers, two things that seem to make folks around here especially thoughtful. Mary said that she knows first-hand just how hard it can be sometimes to be a farmer in the Ozarks; especially farmers who fervently believe that they are charged with the responsibility for caring for the earth and themselves in a sharing and holistic way. After years of building up the farm into a produce and bedding plant business, their mission of sharing suddenly became quite evident.

Maranatha Farm raises organically grown fruits and vegetables and grows winter greens in a 22 x 72 greenhouse. We also raise and sell fresh herbs and herb plants, perennials, raspberries and vegetable starts. Our produce is through email subscription and once a week we send out what we have available and deliver to JB's Health Mart in West Plains. Sell fresh flowers, We do offer garden tours by appointment only. We are open everyday except Saturdays.
