Maui Bees welcomes with grateful open arms, Brittany & Homestead Bakery to the Farm operations in Kula to focus on the Homestead Bakery vision & products. Yay, for Brittany!!! We could not be happier with the new direction. Maui Bees is so thankful for all the friends, clients and customers over the years, since 2009, the days of the you-pick gardens and honor system honey stand. We made it thru covid and the fire and others things we need not remember, but are thankful to have grown with together. As I personally focus on my incredible real estate clients at Sotheby’s and as the 2nd generation beekeeper at Maui Bees, continuing and honoring with grace, the bees and their contribution to our success. The amazing variety of spectacular staff that we shared time with, WOW I thank you. The farm stand will continue to sell Maui Bees Honey and have the Farm-to-Table dinners, with the same Michelin-star worthy chef and staff. I am so excited to focus on my favorite things. It is not the years in our lives, but the life in your years, or conversely it is not the years but the mileage. Hahaaaa & Thank you. I, Leah have been super lucky to have purchased this tiny land in 2004, with the understanding that humans are briefly chosen as caregivers for what the land calls out for. I have co-evolved with it for years. Now, a new wonderful young energy, Yay, fresh sourdough everything all the time. Thank you, thank you, thank you!
With Love and hugs,
Leah
