Recently had someone on TikTok comment on a video stating that,

“Watching people cosplay homesteading is starting to give me heart palpitations.”.

I’m pretty sure it was meant as an insult, which is laughable. Everyone has to start some where and that’s the hardest step!

Better late than never!

Finally got the garden fenced and a gate put up. So now planting can take place. 🤷🏻‍♀️

Plan is to transplant some starts into the ground and sow some seeds directly into the dirt. 🥹

Fingers crossed it yields a decent amount as it’s expanded from last year. Approximately 1145 sq. ft. 🫣

*cookies $8/dozen
**chocolate muffins 6 for $7.50 or $14/dozen
*brownies 9x9 pan $12
**double chocolate muffins 6 for $9 or $16/dozen
*chocolate chip cookies $13/dozen

You can also order some banana or zucchini bread too! $7/loaf

Baking will happen Saturday evening for non-sourdough goods and Sunday morning for sourdough goodies.

What do you use IN your garden to know what you planted where?

I think I heard that stores who carry paint, would give the paint stirring sticks for free, is this true??

Looking for MANY markers as my garden is quite big... Looking for the most affordable option.

How is your garden coming along? What have you planted this year?

My garden expansion is a work in progress and I’m super excited to get the plants in the ground!

A little more rototilling, picking up the clumps of weeds/grass, laying out the soaker hose, and putting up the fence is all that’s needed.
