We’ve had a few things to celebrate around the farm lately
Calf #3 has officially made its appearance and is looking great! We’re thankful for a healthy arrival and another exciting calving season!

We also had the joy of celebrating Mama DeCory’s birthday. She truly runs the show with love, grace, and a whole lot of heart.
Happy Birthday to the one who keeps everything moving and everyone cared for — we love you!

We’re excited to welcome our first heifer calf of the year, marking the start of calving season here at DeCory Family Farms. Each new calf represents our continued commitment to thoughtful herd growth, strong genetics, and attentive animal care. As our herd grows, so does our dedication to raising healthy, high-quality cattle through responsible management and daily hands-on care. We look forward to another season focused on excellence, stewardship, and the future of our farm.

The 2025 Western Idaho Fair was a wonderful experience for our Murray Grey program. We were pleased to have one of our older cows place first in her class, highlighting the strength of our herd.
We extend our sincere thanks to Wyatt, Chloe, and Joey for their assistance in the show ring and congratulate them on becoming Junior Members of the American Murray Grey Association. A special shoutout to Wyatt for earning a belt buckle while exhibiting one of our animals in his showmanship class.
We look forward to building on this year’s success and returning to the fair next year.

American Murray Grey Association National show at Western Idaho Fair 2024

We dusted off the show stuff and hauled out to the Western Idaho Fair this last week! This was our regional show and we had an awesome turn out in numbers. What a great show with some really great people. Things were a little different this year with our little guy in tow but overall we had so much fun. Show day was crazy, as always, and we are so grateful for the help and support that we had before, during, and after the show.

We are excited to announce that DeCory King took Grand Champion Bull!

So grateful to be a part of this wonderful community of people and we can’t wait for the National show next year.
