Microgreen Monday Interesting Fact:
RADISH MICROGREENS-
These little guys are a nutrient powerhouse offering Vit C, E, A, K, minerals ( such as calcium, iron and magnesium), support immunity, vision, bone health and healthy skin. Wow I wasn't kidding when I said they were a nutrient powerhouse!
Microgreens contain higher nutrient levels that full grown radishes.
They are high in antioxidants, they have anti-cancer properties because they contain Sulforaphane.
They offer fiber to help with digestion!
Ok so you know how good these are for you, but just how do you eat them and in what kind of dishes! This is where you can get creative.
This mild spicy flavor is amazing sprinkled on salads, sandwiches, wraps, pizza or pastas. You can even add them into cooked dishes, add as a pretty garnish, top avocado toast or tacos. You can also blend them in smoothies, juice them with other fruits and vegetables or just enjoy them as a healthy snack on their own!
