Shiny new salt blocks. Do you think we can destroy them? I need to get that feed dish out of there. I thought maybe a playful foal would like to toss it around. But Annie has ignored it entirely.

Tractor Supply has gotten extremely cheap on their gates. The first picture is an old gate. It latches securely by looping the chain through.
The second picture is a new gate. There is no latch, so you have to clip the carabiner inside one of the chain links. If you don't pay careful attention, you can hook it around the chain instead of through the link. If you do that it will look latched, but any wind or a horse bumping it will knock the whole chain off.
And this is why I have 3 foals coming this year instead of the 2 I had planned on. She didn't have to look so smug about it though.

I wanted to get a picture of her royal roundness, Jen. But she only wanted me to rub behind her ears. The look on her face though. I love her so much.
