Imagine driving up to a gorgeous Italian style villa in anticipation of drinking a nice cool glass of Pinot Grigio paired with a mouth-watering pasta dish, watching the sun set over a gorgeous vineyard. Now imagine where you would have to be to enjoy this. How about Kutztown, PA. Back in 2000, Rodolfo Folino purchased 54 acres in rural Kutztown on Rt. 78 with hopes of developing the land for homes

. After 7 years of spending money and time on a project that clearly was not going to happen due to township and environmental regulations, his only hope was to try and resell the land as farm in order to recoup a portion of the money he had spent. One evening, Marco and Andrea Folino were relaxing and reading when they came across a story of a husband and wife who opened their own winery. They talked about what a fun and exciting venture that would be when a light bulb went off in their heads. Our family has a combined 40 years of experience in the restaurant industry, all of which have been successful ventures. Marco's grandfather also had a vineyard in Italy in his early years of life. To bring these two elements of our family history together made perfect sense. Folino Estate is a vineyard, winery, restaurant, tasting room & gift shop, and banquet facility. From baby showers, to graduation parties, to bridal showers, weddings, milestone birthday parties, and retirement parties, we want Folino Estate to be the first place people come when a memory is to be made. The tagline we have chosen for Folino Estate is Nel Vino C’e la Verita. In Italian, this means In Wine There is Truth because the truth is when Rodolfo Folino bought that land to develop homes and ran into so many problems, it was because it was always meant to be Folino Estate.

Born from decade-old estate vines, this Bordeaux-style blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc & Petit Verdot reflects the patience of time, land & tradition. It speaks to seasons passed, hands that nurtured the vines, and the Italian belief that legacy is lived around the table, through family, and in everyday rituals.

Produced in an extremely limited run of just 1,200 hand-numbered bottles, this wine serves as a time capsule of our first decade. Crafted for aging, it is a reflection of The Legacy You Live.

We're beginning the celebration with our Italian Summer Pairings, featuring handcrafted cannoli and gelato thoughtfully paired with Folino Estate wines. That philosophy guides everything we do at Folino Estate. From fermentation and blending to aging in French oak barrels and temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks, every wine is crafted right here on our estate by our winemaking team.

No matter the bottle, every wine is made, aged, and bottled at Folino Estate, with each vintage reflecting the care that happens both in the vineyard and in the cellar.
