We are incredibly grateful for the last two years of work we’ve put into Cassette Beer Company, and the truly brilliant people we’ve encountered along the way. Unfortunately, we lost our building with no notice, and thus lost our funding as well. Truly the business equivalent of someone pulling out all your tape.
We’ve had an emotional few weeks, as there are virtually no buildings in Kyle that can accommodate our business, and we are adamant about opening in a community we live in. It’s hard to not feel defeated over what was almost on to groundbreaking. We were truly just months away from being able to share our beer (legally).
Our love of beer—from knowing about it to sharing it to (what we’ve done quite a bit the last couple weeks) drinking it—will not falter with this setback. Cassette Beer Company will be back, and with everything we’ve learned through this process, we know it’ll be better than ever. There’s pencils abound to wind the tape back in.
Enjoy some fun memories of our beginnings—from bottling our first beers with our first labels, to the various garages Joe has brewed out of. We wouldn’t change a single bit of it all.
We love you all, and we raise a glass to each and every person, and most importantly our families, that got us here today 🍻
