Every catering event is different and can be, exciting, challenging, overwhelming, and fulfilling
At times I'm treated like the "help" other times like family.
Yesterday I had a family experience that was just lovely.
The wonderful hostess made sure I had her signature cocktail (the Mermaid) while I prepped appetizers. She made sure to introduce me to everyone as they arrived. And honored my effort and food at every turn.
At the end of the afternoon she asked if I'd sing Happy birthday to the guest of honor, of course me being me 😎... I took off the chef hat and brought the full voice for Betty the birthday gal♥️

The beef stuffing had so much flavor inside the grilled poblano
Made a crema sauce with hatch and green chilies
Corbett Hall thinks it should go on the menu, I'm thinking he's right. It's a good one!!

Christmas luncheon for some of the great folks at Murphy Oil Corp.
Menu:
Sirloin tips over whipped potatoes, spinach souffle, green bean casserole and Pumpkin cheesecake for dessert
They were very happy and I was happy to feed em' 🤩
