Some things are just in your blood. I don’t think there will every be a time that I’m not raising some sort of livestock. When your born into this lifestyle and it runs deep within you, it’s something you just can’t live without to some level.

If you like your chickens tiny, colorful, and a little unpredictable… these are for YOU!

We’re offering 12+++ Kikiriki hatching eggs from our breeding flocks. Pictures of the actual parents (some came directly from Puerto Rico) AND chicks we’ve already hatched from these eggs are included as well so you can see the variety these eggs can produce!

🎨 Colors are COMPLETELY across the board! You never know exactly what you’re going to hatch and that’s half the fun!

There is a chance for:
✨ Frizzle
✨ Turken
✨ Toppy/topknot
✨ Extremely short legs on some
✨ And a whole lot of COLOR possibilities including domino, mauve, chocolate, and ever other color combo possible!

These are Kikiriki, a small, unique breed with tons of personality. Every hatch is a little surprise package.

🐣 Fertility/hatch rates are never guaranteed because hatching is hatching, but our personal fertility and hatch rates have been 95%+!

We all wish we were in a pool in the Caribbean around here. This heat is no joke. Don’t worry though, the cook and maid (me) made sure everyone had cool water to drink and peppermint in their feed to help them take it down a notch.

Sometimes no matter how much you love farm life, you have to step away. Burn out is real. Today we took the time to do something different to recharge. Sunsets off of Florida beaches will always hit a little different.

Let the girls out to do a little w**d control in the yard. Except… 3 of those girls were bottle babies and their first order of business is head straight to the house. I went down to the barn on the side by side to check on the other girls. That was a mistake. The bottle baby gang chased me back to the house and brought backup.

It hits different when the milk lady brings you fresh, warm, raw goats milk straight from the barn for dinner. He also knows he’s 11 weeks old still getting a bottle, but he also knows you should mind your business not his. 😂😂😂😂

The good old days seem like they’re long gone sometimes. Only the stories told about the way things used to be and a slower version of life are left.

These two have finished up their molting season and are ready to return to work as head farm inspectors. They have been very involved in today’s activities. Thankfully we passed today’s inspection.

The clouds showed up and knocked a couple degrees off the Florida heat, and the goats wasted no time taking full advantage. 🌥️🐐 Today they’re living their best pasture life with fresh grass, cooler air, and not a care in the world.
