Thinking outloud here, would everyone thats interesting in coming out to harvest lavender at the end of june through july 28th during evening hours. Lavender is best harvested in the morning before it gets hot as this is peak production time. I wouldnt mind staying up late and opening the farm back up later in the day so people can come out for u cut harvest during those cooler hours. I have construction work lights on telescopic poles and can make the field as bright as day. The down side to this is the light does attract Nats and mosquitoes. Let me know what everyone thinks about evening harvest times. I could choose to stay open later for the community on certen days of the week, just weekends or just flip the business open times to where the field is only open for harvest from 6 or 8pm to 2-3 am with photo sessions available to be scheduled during the day hours when theres no one harvesting for $80 per session in which you get an hour and can use the cut bundles if I have any available as props.

It's been a long recovery time after the accident that broke my leg in oct and part of my ankle is fibula still broken as it never fused together. So this year is going to be more challenging for me but im still going to try and continue trying to work on cleaning up the field and remove some of the lavender plants that dont belong in the row and start potting them for sale. Think I wanted $30 per plant as they are fully mature and they are comeing out of the first 5 rows of which I have a udig list I need to make calls on which I was letting them buy them for $20 if they dig them up them self. Hope to see everyone here starting June 22 for our ucut, fresh and dried lavender along with the wreaths i make. If there are any local stores or restaurants wanting to bring in lavender bundles or dried lavender buds please reach out to me

Well sorry everyone now my ankle is broken im not able to do anything with the field for the remainder of the year... im so sorry to let everyone down that was expecting something from the field this year but Murphy seems to be having fun with me at the moment and now that my ankle is broken im almost completely imoblized for atleast 2 months maybe 4-6 idk... never broken a bone before. All I can do is say im sorry and hopefully I can make this more functional next spring and summer for everyone.

Ive had some confusion about our open hours. Yes im open weekdays but only by appointment at the moment. Our field is open for lavender u pick from end of june to July 27th or August 1st.
Lavender is seasonal and I only get my harvest in those months and im still working on getting a store built with in house products and plants but sadly this puts a wrench in the schedule in was working on. I have seed tubes available but that's it at the moment

FYI where Google says we are open we are infact open only by appointment currently at this time of the year. This year hasn't gone as smoothly as I would have liked. Family medical emergencies have made it difficult for me to keep up. Hoping next year will be better. I do still have lavender plants available in our rows for udig which they will need to be planted and watered the same day. I had one get ripped out by my harvester and I had left it out for about 4-7 days which was too long as the plant had completely dried out in that time so my recommendation would be to plant what you dig up immediately. Im waiting to hear back from the first on my udig list as he had water issues and asked if it could wait till October so im waiting to hear back from him currently before I move to the next on the list.
I will be adding a used car/motorcycle/heavy equipment dealership and to the farm as that's what i went to clark college for. I will be repairing used tractors, cars and motorcycles, building choppers here and there. I currently have 3 motorcycles im working on and a 2015 gw250f that im waiting for the title on. that sale will be my dealership license wich I'll ad on to la center lavender company as a subsidiary or a dual listed company.. I have to explore this a little bit more when i get closer to the cost of my licensing. The sales will be a sold as is type, all bikes i work on and repair i test and ride myself to make sure there's no issues that will leave someone stranded.
I also have heavy equipment experience through westcoast training so if you need land clearing, mowing or tilling I might be able to work something out but be warned heavy equipment work is expensive especially when your dealing with clearing and leveling a whole 20 acer plot. Mowing and tilling are less expensive as they dont require 8+hr a day for a week or more to complete

Well I have a ton of these tubes filled with lavender seed and just look at the germination.. id say it's 80-99% all germination but I can't list them as such but a picture says a thousand words. Will be selling for $5 per pack

Sorry but access to the farm is currently limited to June 24th- aug 1st. Our business is still open outside of those days by appointment only. I currently have no store front but will in the future. I currently don't have any plants available but will have some available for a udig in September till and will also be by appointment. Plant starts will be coming in the future.
