Thanks for virtually visiting our seven-acre hobby farm in Southwestern Washington. We produce beef, pork and eggs.

Patchwork Acres Highland beef is 100% natural grass-fed beef raised completely on grass, and not fed anything but locally-grown hay during the winter months. We use no feed-grade antibiotics, growth hormones, or feed additives. Grass-fed beef is a healthy alternative to conventional beef; it contains up to four times more Omega-3 fatty acids,
more B vitamins, beta carotene, Vitamins C and E, magn

esium and potassium. With our Highland beef you know where the product comes from, and you get what you pay for … 100% pure, wholesome, tasty nutrition! The North American Heart Association states that Scottish Highland beef is the healthiest beef in every way. Their meat is genetically, and significantly leaner than other beef because Scottish Highland Cattle do not have to store fat to keep warm in the winters. Highlands keep insulated by their thick, shaggy long hair rather than growing and holding onto subcutaneous fat to keep them warm. Highland beef compared to other beef breeds overall show that Highland beef has 4.5g of fat compared to 15.6g of fat, per 100g of beef!
