Welcome to River View Winery and Vineyard

Now CLOSED for the season. River View Vineyard & Winery is nestled in the scenic Minnesota bluffs above the beautiful winding Mississippi River Valley. Our small country winery offers 10 different types of wines - reds, whites and blushes, so there's something for every palate. Close to nature, yet a short ride from La Crosse, Wisconsin, we offer a relaxi

ng, memorable experience. Enjoy breathtaking views while you sip our delicious locally produced wines. Our winery is located on Apple Blossom Drive (County Road 1), three miles north of La Crescent, Minnesota. Due to capacity and staffing limitations we are unable to host weddings, wedding receptions or large group events. Maximum group capacity is 20, no coach buses allowed; smaller 15-20 person buses are okay. No bachelorette parties or party buses after 3:00 pm. Advance reservations required. Okay, so much for crisp, cool days! It's HOT this Labor Day Weekend! Didn't anyone tell Mother Nature it's NOT July??!!! Lol!😆 Truth be told, we aren't quite ready for fall just yet, so come and enjoy a nice chilled bottle of wine on our patio this holiday weekend. Come say hello to Brad this Wednesday (8/19) at A Taste of the Garden 2026 fundraiser for The Hunger Task Force at the Kane Street Community Garden in La Crosse, WI. Enjoy a relaxing evening sampling local wine and beer, garden inspired appetizers, garden tours, prize raffles and live music. The event runs from 5:00-7:30 pm and tickets are available in advance and in person the day of the event.

Your support helps the Hunger Task Force continue their mission to alleviate food insecurity by harvesting community resources to help feed our hungry neighbors and ensure everyone has access to healthy, nutritious food. We look forward to seeing you there. 🍅🥕🌽🥔🫑🥦🥒🍇🍷

We are often asked if dogs are allowed on the patio at River View. The answer is YES, beloved fur babies on a leash are always welcome to join us. We are proud to be a pet friendly, family friendly winery and do our best to make all our guests feel valued and appreciated. So feel free to bring all your best buds the next time you visit.
