Well, today was a great day for my first orchard run of the fall season. I visited Cain's Orchard - Hixton, WI and picked VanBuren grapes and I visited Ecker's Apple Farm to pick honeycrisp apples. And I've just got to say that for me there is nothing like being out in these fields connecting with nature and collecting this wonderful bounty!

Shout out to these amazing farmers for all the hard work that they do and for the amazing fruit that they are producing!

Despite the heat and humidity, Uncle Tom's Kitchen is still declaring it the start of the fall season!

That being said, honeycrisp apples are back in stock and the fall pie lineup is available to order online at uncletomskitchenlax.com. This includes Apple Pie, Apple Cherry Pie, Apple Pear Cranberry Pie, Chocolate Bourbon Pecan Pie, and Caramel Apple Pecan Pie. I will also have more of my apple products available at markets.

I sell artisan, handmade baked goods and canned goods. I seek out and purchase the best fruit that is grown right here in our area. I combine traditional methods and recipes with my own creative spin to create products that highlight the amazing flavors of the fruit that I find. My products include jams, jellies, syrups, charcuterie spreads, savory sauces, specialty tomato sauces, Honeycrisp apple products, scones, Danish, muffins, cookies, donuts, and pies.
