Unfortunately, this week's Rural Distribution in Chaseburg has been canceled for today (Monday, June 8, 2026) due to unforeseen circumstances.

We apologize for the short notice and any inconvenience this may cause. Rural Distribution will resume next week at its regularly scheduled time and location.

Families who planned to attend may:

🥕 Attend the next scheduled distribution in Chaseburg on Monday, June 15, or

🥕 Pick up this week's distribution at the La Crosse Dahl YMCA between June 9–11.

Our Food Access team is hard at work today unloading more than 2,700 pounds of fresh produce! 💪🏼🥒🍅🍊

This incredible shipment will help provide fresh, nutritious fruits and vegetables to families throughout our community through our Mobile Market Food Pantry and other food access initiatives. 💚

A special thank you to Channel One for helping ensure our community has access to fresh, healthy options and for being a valued partner in the fight against hunger. 🫛🫑🌶️🍇

Now it's time for our crew to get this produce sorted, packed, and into the hands of local families! 🙌

We're hiring a Food Access Assistant – Mobile Market Leader to help bring fresh, healthy food directly to families across our region.

As part of our Mobile Market team, you'll help transport and distribute food, work alongside volunteers and community partners, and play a direct role in reducing barriers to food access. Every shift helps ensure families have access to the groceries they need.

This part-time position is scheduled Monday through Thursday, typically from 3:00-8:00 PM, with opportunities for additional hours based on program needs.

☀️ Y on the Fly is having a blast today at the Habitat for Humanity of the Greater La Crosse Region “Pave the Way: ReNew the Block Celebration”!

We are so excited to be part of an event that celebrates neighborhood progress, community connection, and the incredible revitalization happening on Avon Street on La Crosse’s Northside.

Families are encouraged to stop by, say hello, enjoy the block party activities, and help us kick off summer together. We cannot wait for another season of bringing fun, wellness, connection, and nutritious meals into our community through Y on the Fly!

Today marks 4 years since the start of the YMCA pantry space!
What began as a small closet has grown into a space that now fills our former wellness area. Today, our Mobile Market proudly serves almost 1,000 people each month in our community and nearby counties.

We are incredibly grateful for the continued support, partnerships, and dedication that have helped this program grow and thrive. We look forward to continuing to serve and support our community in the years ahead.
