Thanks for everyone’s care & concern. Water One’s surgery was successful. He is recovering well. Best medicine yet was sitting in his spot at Ebony General this morning. And yes Moseley & Nash is still in business.

With a heavy heart we learn of the passing of our dear friend and long, long time employee, Stonewall Jackson Sadler at the age of 94.
I’ve known him all my life, as he worked with 3 generations of our family business--my grandfather, father and then me. First at the farm running equipment, then running the cotton gin, next to the dairy and later with the pump crew.
Years ago my father bought him hearing aids which he refused to wear stating he “could hear too much”.
Though hearing impaired from birth, Jackson was very smart and a quick study. Communication included speaking in a very loud voice and lots of gestures.
You only had to show him a piece of equipment once. While some people reach for duct tape, Jackson could fix anything with pump wire. Often, we’d come upon his repair and affectionately state it was “Jacksonized”.
Jackson was really good with cows, knew what to do. Easy. And that’s what it takes.
Jackson made me laugh and smile.
I will miss my good friend, Jackson.

Last month a friend (who has nicknamed me Boss) needed urgent medical attention while on the job site. Again Central Rescue Squad came through providing immediate care & coordinating the med flight to Duke. Happy to report our friend returned to work last week on light duty! Untold the numbers of lives, including our friend's, who have been saved by Central!! And we thank you!
