Today marks 45 days since having my mini stroke and I wanted to share with you one of the biggest blessings I have had during this time of healing and I hope that it may help you as much as it has helped me. As many of you know, back in May, our son got married. Little did we know how much that joining of two families would effect our life. You see, our sons Father-in-Law is an amazing physician at GRH in the Emergency Room, Dr. Brian Reynolds!
When I was life flighted to Boise, Tasha got a text from Brian offering help when we returned.
What we didn't know earlier was that Brian was working to open a clinic that would be able to help Jimmy in ways we didn't expect. And all I can say if your skeptical of new things like i was, is... look at my progress... a month ago I was needing help to walk and my family and I were so lost and scared at what my future held. So I'm sharing to help others!

The clinic name is, Brian Reynolds, MD - Laser Therapy and Functional Medicine Clinic.

"My hope is to be able to help heal patients who are not seeing progress with traditional medical treatment. I will be using low level laser therapy, cold lasers, all by a company named Erchonia. There is no heat produced. These lasers give the body energy to help heal itself. These help with almost any medical condition. They help reduce inflammation, which is the core of a lot of chronic medical conditions, including brain and gut issues. The lasers I use are already FDA approved for over 20 medical conditions.
I will also treat people by using functional medicine when necessary."

Tasha here, just want to keep everyone updated on Jimmy Burgess cause I know how much you all love him... First off, thank you from the bottom of our hearts for all the love and kindness you guys have shown our family... it makes me speechless.
Jimmy is doing better every day and right now I'm in amazement at his fight and determination to get back to himself. He's doing his physical therapy exercises constantly, working on all aspects of walking, turning, stepping up and down, ect. We were able to drive him over to pendleton yesterday and went and enjoyed a movie which was great for our spirits!
You will most likely start to see him out and about as we start going on walks and such. I'm sure he'd love a honk or a wave if you see us out. Your love and prayers are so appreciated.
He's my superman!

Hello everyone. Jimmy here, i would like to thank you for all your prayers and thoughts this week. Its a scary and frustrating time with some setbacks. But the outpour of support and love from family and friends, really helps during recovery. Thank you to the staff at the Grande Ronde Hospital and Saint Alphonsus Hospital, their response along with their dedication. A special thanks to my wife Tasha and daughter Kallin for being there every step of the way and to Kaden and Kaitlynn taking care of things in our absence and Kelley and Victoria for bringing grandkids to visit, Appreciate you all.

Hi everyone, this is Jimmy's wife Tasha. Jimmy has had a small stroke and sadly for the foreseeable future will NOT be open for the day to day operations. He will be OK but needs time and rest to get back to himself.
Any catering events that are scheduled for this year will still be done as planned. We will not be taking on any more catering events this year!
Please contact us thru fb messenger if you have a catering event and would like to double check it with us. We appreciate your love and prayers as we work to get him back to full health. He's strong and resilient and you will see his smiling face back at it soon.

I hope this post reaches the female customer that came to get food from me today on July 2nd and I mistakenly and incorrectly gave her the wrong, and less than I should have, change back today. I am so sorry and I ask that you please contact me as I would love to make it right, with a refund, a free meal, or simply your correct change back. Again, my sincere apologies and I hope everyone knows I would never do that on purpose and I very much appreciate you coming to get a meal from me today.

Hey folks, Jimmy B's BBQ will be closed tomorrow, Saturday June 13th for a catering event.
Also on Father's Day June 21st, JIMMY B'S BBQ will be serving up a delicious bbq lunch in Union at Buffalo Peak Golf course. Even if you are not golfing that day, you are welcome to come and purchase some lunch for yourself or that favorite dad in your life.
