Every year I like to try something new, and this year’s shining STAR is Passion Fruit!
I never knew the pineapple/kiwi/melon goodness of this, never realized that tart and sweet blended so well, and never mind the delicious crunchy seeds that add an amazing texture.
Locally grown by a dear friend, they’re organic and amazing.
I’m hooked.

An Accidental Jam Maker’s confession:
I don’t even like jam. No, really. (So sue me..)

Fortunately, my husband does, and he has a wonderful palate ♥️

This all started when the Covid hit. I was bored (who wasn’t?), my husband asked if we had any jam in the house….and I thought, “Why not?” That’s literally how it started. I discovered I enjoyed the process, from selecting and smelling the fruits to listening for the *ping* of those sealed jars. People liked what I gave them. People asked for more. Then people PAID for it! Who knew?!

So here we are…..6 years, many tested recipes, and over 3000 jars of that sweet stuff later..and I just have to stop in the middle of this season and thank you, the jam lovers, for coming back for more. Again and again. I appreciate you! 😊

My only disclaimer is “The jam is only as good as the fruit is”, and I’m fortunate enough to have the best California has to offer at my fingertips. (Hint: It’s not grocery store ick. It’s farm grown locally, and is usually organic. 👏)

So go ahead and get your fingers sticky. Your taste buds won’t be mad either. 😁
