Good Beaujolais (Gamay) is one of those wines that’s hard not to like — the kind of bottle we think everyone should try.

Especially when it’s made by a legend like Nicole Chanrion.

Her Cîte de Brouilly 2023 is bright, fresh, and effortless — the kind of wine that just makes sense. Especially when it’s only $25. This wine shows how good natural wine can be when Made by a really proficient winemaker.

Sadly, that’s not always the case with natural wine đŸ€Šâ€â™‚ïž

This is Beaujolais at its best: approachable, delicious, and full of life. Red-fruited, medium-bodied, and a joy to drink on its own or with whatever’s for dinner.

The kind of wine that reminds you why you love wine in the first place.

‘the Vincent’ Old Vine Grenache from Barossa Valley, Australia.

It’s just fun to drink a [absurdly delicious] wine that comes from vines that have been producing this wine for 120+ years.

In 1901, when some of the vines were planted that go into making this wine, Theodore Roosevelt became president and the Commonwealth of Australia was formed.

And they’re still kicking!

Give this wine a go and ponder how far we’ve come in 120 years and how those grape vines still haven’t moved.

Here it is! From Salcheto, the top organic estate in Montepulciano, comes “The Fiasco” — a 3L Sangiovese bag-in-box red wine made from (shhhh) the same fruit as their Vino Nobile di Montepulciano!

But it’s $10 less per bottle and comes with fewer emissions and light weight recycled cardboard packaging. Still delivers the same insane value and juicy cherry + spices!
