Changes happen quick and local provisions. 💯😎
✅We have 2 new sourdough bakers for the store!
👉 .livings.homestead will drop off on Mondays starting next week
👉 will drop off on Thursdays!
👉 Both sourdoughs are top notch!! 😋😋🤤
✅We have scones from .star.bakery with GLUTEN FREE options as well! 😋🤤
✅We have new shirts!!!! T-shirts and Hoodies! Represent local food!!!
✅Santa’s Stash soap is available online and in the store!!
✅Next week we are extending our open days!!!
👉We will be open Mondays from 10:00-6:00

The cucomelon or Mexican Sour Gherkin is part of the Cucurbit Family. 🥒
✅In zone 7b in Southern Maryland it known as a late summer crop… much like the hotter varieties of peppers. Heavy fruiting starts in September and continues through October.
✅These are time consuming and difficult to harvest due to the number of small fruits these vines put out, the camouflage easily, and the strength of the vine.
✅You can grow along the ground, but this makes it even harder to harvest in the ground cover.
✅They make a great healthy snack and are extremely prolific… coming back every year as volunteers!

Why do we make soaps with 100% coconut oil?

✅We set out to make an all-natural soap that was simple!
✅We also wanted to keep the price down. 🤑
✅Using less ingredients means that there is less that can go wrong! 💯
✅Many people say that our soaps will be very drying if they are made from just coconut oil. To that I say… we must have a lot of customers that love dry skin!!!😎

I made more deodorant today, (that’s not really deodorant) based on what the skin routine police say. 👮👮‍♂️🚓. It’s more like all-natural, moisturizing, underarm smell-good cream.
