We will be closing down the squash stand at the end of the day on Monday, 11/24. After that, the mercury will be dropping too low to keep it in good shape. There are still Buttercups, Butternuts, Spaghettis and a few Delicatas. Stop out this weekend if you want to stock up 😊.

Our very favorite part of pumpkin season is the chance to see so many old friends and make new ones. On our last day of the season, I mistook Nathan, a guest from Cedar Falls pictured on the left, for our local superfan Chris Ribble. I told him the funny story of how Chris wears the same flannel Duluth Trading Company shirt when he visits every year. A big Duluth fan himself, Nathan said he would love to meet Chris. As fate would have it, Chris (in said flannel😉) and his family showed up a short time later. Here they are — clearly Brothers from Other Mothers — and they probably would still be chatting out there if their families hadn’t finally made them leave! Happy Halloween to all of our wonderful customers and friends 🎃!!

If you need carving pumpkins this week, there are some lonely survivors lined up against the barn that would love to be picked. Self-serve squash and gourds plus misc. on the pumpkin store porch. Free-will donation for all; take what you need and pay what you want 😊.

!!!FINAL WEEKEND OF THE SEASON!!! Wow, that went fast! For our last two days of the year, all non-edible store merchandise will be HALF PRICE. Decor, farm toys, t-shirts, carving patterns, candles, and more. All remaining mums are also half off. We still have plenty of pumpkins for carving and decorating, plus oodles of gourds and squash. Stock up now! See you soon!!🎃

For our final weekend of the season, we're going to UNLEASH THE BEAST at Hanson's Hollow! Logan Merchant and his crew from Beast & Bird will be here both Saturday and Sunday. Saturday will feature their fantastic, traditional BBQ menu, and Sunday brings a new treat -- pork smashburgers! Logan was one of the first brave souls who agreed to vend for us 5 years ago when we started hosting food trucks. Since then, he has been KILLING IT, opening his own brick-and-mortar restaurant in Vinton and gathering up awards by the boatload. Come visit this local treasure this weekend!!
