We have mini donkeys and some poultry for fun we do what we do with passion, and hard work. First off we want to thank all of our past/ future customers and followers. We are so incredibly blessed to have such an amazing customer and following base. We are breeders of quality ADGA registered Nigerian Dwarf goats, nestled in a small Rural Amish town of Northern Central Ohio about 1 hr North of Co
lumbus. As of 2024 so we can better focus on family life we only have four goats in the herd (2 ADGA registered) but we have worked hard to produce decent dairy offspring as we have sought out well known goats with good confirmation and milking bloodlines. While we have worked hard adding does with Champions and Superior Genetics in their backgrounds we cannot guarantee show quality kids. We also have a small herd of mini donkeys and a horse and Chickens for eggs. We are proud parents to our daughter as well as 8 cats and 3 dogs. *****SALES POLICY ****
FIRST AND FOREMOST, we reserve the right to refuse any sale that we feel is not in the best interest of any animal we are selling. Our animals are part of our family, and we expect them to have nothing but the best home both here and off our farm. A deposit of an agreed upon amount will hold goat kids until they are ready to be weaned. ALL deposits are NON-REFUNDABLE. Payment in full must be made one week before delivery or AT pickup your kids. We WILL NOT deliver or goat to you unless a location is agreed upon (on a rare occasion 1 hr from our house, a gas fee WOULD be added to overall price). We are willing to work with reputable pet transport companies but they must pick the purchased animal up at our farm, buyer is responsible for both making transportation arrangements and paying the transporter. You MUST put a deposit down in a timely fashion(within 24 hrs upon agreeing to purchase), unless another date is agreed upon, repeatedly telling us you are going to send one WILL NOT hold an animal for you
We do allow you to make as many payments as possible in whatever amount you many need once your deposit is received. As stated above animals MUST BE paid in full before leaving the farm. Care of our animals is most important to us, so our goat kids are sold up to date on vaccinations, worming, and hoof care. A record of vaccines, worming, and hoof trimming will be given at time of pick up
You MUST remain in contact with us after a deposit is received on an animal. If you stop contact for more than two weeks after a message is sent to you your deposit will be forfeited and we will move on to the next person interested. Goats are animals that require hard work, but they are very rewarding to own. We recommend first time owners visit other informational sites, read books, ASK questions, and EDUCATE YOURSELF! You can NEVER know too much! Your goats will thank you for it! Remember we were new to all of this once and willing to answer any questions (there are NO stupid questions). OUR judgement and experience tell us when goat kid is ready to be weaned from mom. WE WILL NOT wean till at least 10 weeks. After we see signs, they are ready we pull them from mom and screen them for any signs that they aren’t ready to leave/ wean (not continuing to eat or drink on their own or losing weight). After the screening time which usually takes about 2 weeks if everything is fine you can take your goat home. This is to ensure we sell you a happy healthy baby! It is the responsibility of the buyer to look at the animal they have bought before leaving the farm to make sure it meets their expectations/ standards. Due to bio security, We CANNOT take animals back once they leave the farm NOR will we issue a refund because you’ve changed your mind. Goats can live up to 12-18 years with proper care and dedication. We want our babies to be lifetime pets not disposable for this reason we DO NOT breed for Easter or Christmas kids. If they are ready for homes around these times you MUST prove you are not wanting them for just “Holiday” gifts. We do keep a waiting list, if you wish you can put a nonrefundable deposit on a breeding. If a deposit on a breeding is received and what you are wanting is not produced, you can either move your deposit over to a kid from another breeding OR your deposit will be refunded at that time. Kids will not be held without a nonrefundable deposit; deposit will only be refunded if kid is sick at the time of pickup or passes away. We will not take returns on kids due to bio security reasons. We encourage people to do their research and realize the work and dedication goats take. We will not sell to a home that only wants 1 kid, unless they already have goats or proof of starting a herd
We dam raise, we don't bottle raise due to our work schedules being so busy. The only time we have bottle raise kids is when it is necessary for them to thrive and be healthy
While our kids are handled many times a day, we can't guarantee they are going to be tame, goats are like people they all have their own personalities some like handled and some don't no matter what you do. While we do our best to produce good quality kids we cannot guarantee our kids to be breeding quality, show quality, or have ideal udders and output. All bucks we feel wouldn't be good breeding stock at time of weaning will be wethered. Kids will be disbudded at request of buyer
We can't guarantee and buck or doe kid will produce kids themselves. We are all at the mercy of Nature and not all animals are able to reproduce no matter the age.
