This broken opal buck is molting into his sr prime coat. He had protruding guard hairs as a jr, but they are all molting out so it will be interesting to see how his adult fur turns out.

He’s out of GC Otis and GC Chocolate Truffle. He carries chocolate and potentially non-extension.

I love his depth, width, and fullness throughout. I wish he peaked further back for a more correct topline, but he is pretty dang cute anyways!

Reserved**

I have two very different does that I’ve been growing out, but needing to downsize. I have older does that still need to be bred, and I planned on using these does as brood does, but won’t have space to use them for a while.

Red doe-

She’s a rich colored red and has short fur with really nice texture. She does have pretty bad s**t on her ears and face, and is smaller than I like at this age (5.5 months old and 7lbs 2oz). She is a smaller framed doe. I took her to Wa state convention and received good comments on her overall. She may be a nice fit for a red or tri program looking for certain parts that she has.

Broken black otter doe-

She has nice fur texture, could use more density. She’s 16 weeks old and already over 7.5 lbs! I planned to pair her with a nice typed deep buck if I kept her. She has a large frame, thick bones, and excellent furred feet. She’s going to be a big doe!

I don’t do evals this young because they squish and change so much, but I saw this little 2 week old sitting in the cage and took him out for fun. It will be interesting to see if he stays deep. Dang kid!

*pending

7month old broken opal buck can catch a ride to convention. He’s currently molting, so should be in his sr prime for the show. He carries chocolate, possibly self and non-extension. He has a large solid bone structure, excellent feet, and lots of depth! He does have some protruding guard hairs which currently throw off his fur texture, but it may molt out.

Marble has very dense fur and this is what her summer molts look like 🫣 she seemed to feel better after some plucking and brushing. Sheesh!

Bubbles took a BOV at the show this last weekend. Chaos Creek Ranch snapped this cute picture of her for me.

13 weeks old and almost 7 lbs? I’ll take it! She is a tri outcrossing to my amber lines, which is why I ended up with a harlequinized/brindled castor.

I’m hoping she’ll give me beautiful chocolate tri and brindles next year. Sadly, she won’t see a show table, so I thought I’d show her off here 🥰

Daily little health check! I check for full bellies and do a quick physical exam on each kit. If there are any kits that don’t have a full belly or are acting sluggish, I will keep note and intervene especially in these large litters.

Eclipse is worth her weight in gold! She often feeds her kits 3-4 times a day (2 is average) and keeps them clean and well tended to.

P.S. for any new breeders out there, this does not stress out my doe. She is used to me handling her and will not reject her litter from my smell on the kits (old wives tail 😉).

GC Truffle isn’t looking bad for just coming off a litter! I hope I get many more litters out of her. I sadly had to put her mom, HunnyBuns Eclair down a few months back, but have many siblings and half siblings to keep the line going ❤️
