WHY FOSTERING IS SO IMPORTANT
For a few weeks now. We have been trying to find foster placement for a handful of dogs. Last night, these dogs were posted on a dog search group because the were found tied to a pole on the side of a very busy highway. 3 have been found, 2 are still running. They are friendly, but probably terrified, because the humans they trusted decided to leave them in the cold next to tractor trailers flying down the interstate, instead of leaving them in someone else’s home to be cared for.
While we understand that people make bad choices- this is nauseating.
This is also why we need you. It truly takes a village to save the animals. We are asking anyone who can, please please apply to foster with us. Whether it’s these dogs that we save, or the next litter that’s found on the side of the road- they all need our help.
We as a rescue will provide food, puppy pads, crates, toys, leashes, vet care… you provide a home, love, and guidance on how to be a good pup.
