We will pick up on posting soon! I have the hardest time remembering to post here and honestly all we are doing now is trying to stay out of the mud.

We have a couple Nigerians who should be having babies at any time! So be ready for the cuteness overload. There’s nothing better than a baby goat! We also should have some chicks soon! We donated some eggs to a 1st grade class at New Castle Elementary for hatching and once they hatch they will be coming back to live with us! Our current rooster is a polish so I hope to have some fluffy headed little babies! I don’t plan to incubate much this year as I’m really hoping for we have a few girls that will sit and take the work out of it for me!

Check out our new farm logo!!! I’m in love! Of course a big fat chicken because we LOVE our feathered friends but our farm is full of Mulberry trees so it just seemed fitting. I worried our designer to death but she did an amazing job!

I have an old barn with some junk in it (some scrap). Need some quotes on getting it cleaned out.

Anyone know where I can buy a used IBC 275/300 gallon tote for hauling water to animals? Not looking to pay the 500 at TSC.

Hey Friends! We have an 18 month old kiko/boer buck who is looking for a new pasture. This is a BIG pretty boy who throws out gorgeous dappled babies. I’d guess him to be at least #150! Located in Henry County!

Everyone meet Dolly! The newest sweet little face on the farm! She’s the cutest little stubby leg gal & we are hoping she’s got a few sweet little babies in there! She’s also got a wonky eye which just adds a little *pizazz* 🎉 She may be my new favorite!

And this is why I can’t be trusted in Rural King alone. Came home with 4 little guineas. We tried these guys last year too and between the raccoons, foxes and them just escaping…well we started with 10 and ended up with zero! They aren’t anything like chickens. They are actually an African wild bird lol. They haven’t been able to be domesticated like chickens. These things are tick eating machines and also little alarms for danger. I’ll probably TRY to keep them cooped up with the chickens and avoid free ranging them because I know they will more than likely disappear and never come back lol. So my expectations are low because my luck with guineas is also low!!

On another note!!! About 3-4 more days until my geese eggs start to hatch!!

Hannah’s horse Aria had a mani/pedi today courtesy of our new farrier Diane Chatman. She did SO good. She can have a bit of an attitude at times (it’s a mare thing) so we weren’t sure how well she was going to behave herself. But she passed with flying colors! Diane came highly recommended and we couldn’t be happier with her work! She will be coming out every 6 weeks to keep Aria’s feet in tip top shape and 6 weeks from now she will have TWO animals to work on. More information on that surprise coming SOON!!

We had a couple more surprise babies a few days ago! I was selling poor Charlie because I didn’t think he was taking care of business but boy was I wrong! I now have no idea how many more maybe pregnant. Guess we will find out!

These are boy/girl twins with the prettiest blue eyes!

The little buckling will be for sale at weaning in about 7 weeks!
