Stopped for a snack at Fourscore Beer Co. After driving around in the convertible in this heat we needed someplace cool…… and here we are! We ordered one of their specials, a prime rib sandwich with sautéed onions. It came with horseradish sauce and prime rib dipping sauce. We also got toasted red pepper hummus that came with veggies and toasted pita. Everything was delicious and fresh! Hubby got a German beer and I got a drink called “Tea time”. Woohoo!!!!

I’m sorry……it’s been a while. We are camping in Gettysburg at the moment. We stopped for lunch at Blue & Grey pub/restaurant. I got the Buford burger. It was blackened and had blue cheese crumbles with sautéed onion on it. I asked for MR and boy was it amazingly juicy! Hubby had the carnivore salad. No lettuce or tomatoes for him! Check it out!!!
We went to another place worth talking about, we are going back so I’ll show yall later!

Stopped in Gettysburg at this lovely Pub. The spinach artichoke dip in a bread bowl was amazing!

I took my friend to Franks Place in Simpson today for her birthday! Lordy lord. Steak was perfect, crab was sweet, and her salmon was phenomenal. Coconut shrimp as an appetizer too! If you’ve never been, just go!

Went to Lager Haus in Tafton to get some early dinner. My husband and I shared. We had chicken wings (Korean pepper) that were amazing! Then we got the Friday special which was a hand carved roast beef sandwich on a garlic Kaiser roll with horsey sauce. Another delicious dish. We will go back!

Ok. Sad to say this was a flop. After taking our order and putting it into the kitchen our flat iron steaks were 86ed. Ok. No biggie. I got a patty melt and my friend got a chicken parm meal. My burger was ordered MR and came out MW. Ok. No biggie. The sweet potato fries were yummy and cooked perfectly. The chicken parm was yummy but small. I’ve always wanted to come here and now I can say I did. Not going back. We actually had to find someone to serve us. Weird…….Hancock House Hotel.

Stopped at a place in Ulster County off 299. Mountain Brauhouse. Holy wow. No pics only cuz no service. If you ever come this way please stop. My pot roast was fork tender and so yummy I just kept eating. Hubbys roulades were to die for. Just go if you’re in the area!

Stopped someplace new. The Lager House in Tafton. We came in for a quick drink, ran into a dear friend, and hubby ordered loaded fries. Normally he asks for them well done, but he didn’t today. He loved the bacon and onions, but the fries weren’t quite cooked enough. You judge. We will go back! Try something else!

So we are traveling and stopped at a New Mexican restaurant in Accord NY. Casa Amigos. I had a chili relleno and Chris had taco alla carbón. My pepper was perfectly stuffed with beef and was sooo tender. He ate both his tacos and practically licked the plate! I had a spicy margarita too! Enjoy the pics!

Just putting this out there. It’s against the law when restaurants want to charge you a credit card processing fee of anything. If they do get your money back immediately. Otherwise contact your local legal authorities. It needs to be incorporated into the food costs. Not added to the  parishioners bill.
