God working behind the scenes is like putting a bunch of ingredients together that we wouldn’t expect to make such a delicious recipe.

Sometimes we’re expecting blessings to form from our expectations. We have this picture in our minds of how things should unfold, what doors should open, and what answered prayers should look like. But God doesn’t always work within our expectations.

Sometimes He will use things and make situations work in ways that leave us thinking, “No way there’s good going to come from this. How???”

Think about baking soda. It can be used for cleaning, but it’s also an ingredient that is used often while baking. Same ingredient, completely different purpose depending on how it’s being used.

And isn’t that just like God?

A prime example of how He can take something we thought had only one purpose, repurpose it, make it new, and create a blessing that would make us blink twice.

He can take something we overlooked, something we thought was working against us, or even something we thought was wasted, and use it to create something entirely new.

Sometimes we’re so focused on what we think a blessing should look like that we don’t even realize there’s a blessing sitting right in front of our face.

Just because we don’t understand what He’s putting together doesn’t mean He isn’t creating something good.

Pray. Trust. Wait. And He will reveal.

It’s the next morning, and I’m STILL in awe of how beautifully this all came together!!🥹🤍

For a while there, the passion, love, creativity, and excitement I once had started to fade under the weight of pressure. But one thing I can say is that October 2025 me would be SO proud of October 2026 me.

Not because the journey has been easy, but because I chose to stay consistent, even through the challenges. Even on the hard days. Even when that spark didn’t feel as bright as it once did.

Yesterday, as I walked away from setting everything up, I had a smile from ear to ear. And not just ANY smile. I’m talking about the kind of smile you feel through your entire body. The kind that reminds you why you fell in love with what you do in the first place.

That excitement, that passion, that love, that creativity… I finally felt that spark again. And it felt SO good to be reminded of what God has already blessed these hands to create.

Sometimes the journey gets heavy, but that doesn’t mean the purpose has disappeared. Sometimes you just have to keep showing up until you find your spark again.

With all that being said, ALL GLORY TO THE MAN ABOVE! None of this would be possible without Him. Thank You, God, for the strength to keep going, the gift You placed in my hands, and the reminder that what You started in me, You’re not finished with yet.

This is more than just baking. This is purpose, passion, and answered prayers.

Go for it. Go for it and figure it out along the way. Go the way that requires you to have faith.

There’s never going to be a perfect time. There’s never going to be the “right” time. Life isn’t going to slow down and wait for you to be ready. Time is going to pass either way. So you might as well start.

And that’s exactly what I did.

I took a leap of faith, believed in a dream, and started without having it all figured out. And here we are!

C&C Bakery has become so much more than I ever imagined. From helping couples celebrate their love and tie the knot, to first birthdays, milestone birthdays, and all the little and big moments worth celebrating in between. It means so much to get to be a small part of memories that will last a lifetime.

And I truly couldn't do any of this without the love and support of this incredible community. Every order, every referral, every kind word, and every person who has trusted me to be part of their special moments means more than I could ever put into words.

I'm still learning, still growing, and still figuring things out as I go. But looking back, I'm so thankful I didn't wait until everything was perfect.

So whatever that dream is that's been on your heart, go for it. Do it scared. Do it with faith. Figure it out along the way.

The time is going to pass anyway. You might as well spend it building something you love. 🤍

It’s October 1st! 🥨

We are only a few months away from the new year, which also means this year is almost fully booked for events (what a blessing) & next year already has some spots filled!
