This post has been on my mind for the last several months.
I have been thinking and struggling with exactly how to word it and can not come up with an easy way to say this so I will just get it done...
I have decided to retire from beekeeping so we will be closing our business - Crast Family Farm - over the next few months. We will have honey until it is gone and I will have bees for sale along with other equipment this spring until gone.
The desire to travel more and enjoy (total) retirement made my mind up for me.
I can only say - Thanks so much to all who have helped me along the way as well as all who have purchased our products, it has been a great 10 years but time to move on.

You know what this heat means for beekeepers right?? Checking for honey?? Because honey needs to come out of those frames when it's nice and hot- like today!! Cold honey doesn't work so well in the extractor! Wish Mr Beekeeper well as he sweats his bal...d head off today! Thank you to Mason Crast -my number #1 forever for stepping up and taking my place in that sauna of a honey house and helping papa.....without complaining!
