It’s been a while! Our garlic crop will be ready for harvest soon!! 🧄 That’s going to be the biggest harvest of the season because we have had to take a temporary hiatus from our garden this year. We decided to buy a preschool (so exciting, we’re opening in September! Check out on our other page Garden Grove Preschool) which needs lots of renovations. Luckily farmer big is a licensed contractor, so it’s all in his wheelhouse but it stole all of his gardening time!

Stay tuned for sporadic offerings (including eggs), as we did plant a little bit. Enjoy this picture of one of our first baby chick to hatch on our farm! (Farmer little named it twinkle ✨)

🚨Major tomato restock!! 🚨
Despite the majorly wet weather, our tomato rainbow 🌈 is starting to take shape again this year (because of the weather, our harvest isn’t quite as plentiful, but it’s just as pretty!) Just harvested this morning!

All heirloom varieties— white, yellow, black, pink, and even blue! Mini-large, and uglies have returned!

Stock up for your Labor Day BBQ! Great for slicing on burgers and sandwiches, and chopping up for salads. Yum!

WE’RE BACK!

MAJOR restock including… **drumroll**
🍅🍅🍅🍅🍅🍅🍅🍅🍅🍅🍅🍅🍅🍅🍅TOMATOES!! They’ve finally arrived on the stand! All different sizes and varieties.

A super-cool new crop we tried (and love): orange eggplant. I’ll post another feature on them soon, but these tomato-sized mini- eggplants are so cool and yummy (taste just like the regular purple kind!)

As well as regular eggplant, GIANT zucchini, garlic, yellow squash, and spaghetti squash!!

As some of you may have noticed, our stand has been looking pretty pathetic these past couple of weeks, and radio silence on social media… Since our stand is at our house, for safety’s sake, we can’t announce when we are going to be away. Unfortunately while we were gone the hurricane came through and flooded what garlic was on the stand, and blew everything around. BUT…

We have cleaned up shop and are ready to rock! Come check us out this weekend!

Meet our dog, sprinkles. When stopping at our stand to shop, you might see or hear her.

1) she is extremely friendly despite how she might sound if she barks, and has never met a human or animal stranger. So much so, her tag says “I just met you and I love you” on it (because that’s the truth).
2) she can NOT get to the stand or near the end of our driveway. We have an effective invisible fence. You dont have to worry about her escaping or chasing you or your car, and you don’t have to interact with her if you don’t want to!
3) if you do choose to interact with her, know that she is a very energetic 10 month old puppy and has the tendency to jump (sorry—we’re working on it!!).

We are so proud of her learning to protect our chickens! See the comments for a video we caught of her herding then back to their coop when they started to wander off our property 🐓🐓🐓
