It’s time 🌽🌽🌽 Vincennes Melons of Lafayette will only have fresh and delicious bi-color “Sweet Corn” to start our season. Our corn is also from down south near the Vincennes area, “June 18th” this Thursday around Noon.

Our produce wagon will be at the same location as previous year’s, we are located at Bennett’s Greenhouse at 3651 McCarty Lane.

We accept cash 💵 and debit cards 💳 please be nice & kind as we do our best to bring the most amazing produce to you…we are ready for another great season!

❗️WE WILL BE OPEN SUMMER OF 2026 LOCATED AT BENNETT’S GREENHOUSE❗️
There’s been some confusion so, let’s clear it up! We aren’t closing anytime soon!
⭐️Let me introduce (or reintroduce) ourselves!

We are Vincennes Melons of Lafayette! We have been proudly serving Lafayette with produce from Vincennes, IN for almost 20 years now! We plan to keep going for as long as you let us!
We offer:
🌽Sweet Corn 🍈Cantaloupes 🍉Sugarbabies/Watermelons 🍅Tomatoes 🫑🌶️ Peppers 🥒Zucchini and Cucumbers
(It varies every load but we will always post what we are bringing back)
Before we ended up at Bennett’s Greenhouse, we were at the gas station on the corner of McCarty and Creasy for many years. (I won’t bore you with the locations before that)

Pam is the owner and operator. She is the first face you usually see when paying for your produce or helping pick the perfect cantaloupe or sugar baby out! She’s took this business over from her father. He stopped in Vincennes on the trip back from Florida and got the chance to try the produce. He knew everyone would love to have delicious southern Indiana produce. So he decided to start bringing to Lafayette and the rest is history!

You will also meet or have already met Roger, Steve, Uncle Richard and Tori.
Roger(tall man with a pony tail) helps Pam the most. He is who is likely helping bag corn or helping with picking the perfect melon. Richard, he is our Uncle. He hangs out with us when he has time. He loves to help you check out these melons. Steve is Pam’s boyfriend he is likely telling you all the melons taste great and you need 4 more than you came for.
Tori is Pam’s daughter who also happens to be writing this post (and probably a lot of the other ones you’ll read). She runs the page. You may also see her at the stand from time to time when paying for your produce.

🎉With all of that being said, we are so excited to see everyone. Whether you’re a returning customer or a brand new customer, we are happy to have you!

✅Please remember we are human. We can only do some much at once. Especially when it’s hot. Please give us grace!

✅Remember to bring things to keep you cool while waiting in line!

🚨Who’s ready for delicious southern Indiana sweet corn? 🌽 🚨
I don’t know about you but I used the last of my frozen sweet corn a few weeks ago so I’m ready for more. Nothing beats fresh sweet corn! 🤤

Farmers are telling us it will be VERY SOON‼️
