BVM has celebrated Dolly through desserts for years, but now, with the bakery AND Book Club & Co. under one roof, this tribute feels even more special 💕
This week, we’re writing our love letter to a woman whose kindness, imagination and belief in the power of books made the world brighter and placed millions of stories into the hands of young readers 🦋📚
We’ll have a full menu of Dolly-inspired desserts at BVM, plus books paired with some of her most beloved songs at Book Club & Co. 💖
A Week Inspired by Dolly runs Wednesday, September 2 through Saturday, September 5. We are closed through Tuesday to recoup and restock, then reopen Wednesday at 10 AM. We can’t wait to see y’all! 💗

Dolly has been inspiring BVM desserts for YEARS 💕✨
As far back as 2021, we’ve celebrated her as one of the inspirational women featured in our International Women’s Month collections. Since then, there have been Dolly macarons, Dolly recipes at Cookbook Club and plenty of pink, sparkly little tributes to the queen herself ✨
This week, we decided she deserved the whole dang menu 🦋💖 The whole menu drops TOMORROW!
Reminder: We are closed Monday and Tuesday this week to restock and recover from last week’s enormous sellout, but we’ll be back open Wednesday at 10 AM! stay tuned!!! 🎶

The Book Club & Co. Adult Scholastic Book Fair prep is ON, and we are closing early to get in front of it all! So, open 10-3 pm today!
Our pizza card party is tonight! 🍕 a big congrats to everyone who finished and submitted their cards - parking will be tight today with tent being put up in the parking lot! 🍕
We’ve got some amazing GRAZE ACADIANA coming tonight, and NUBE 9 COFFEE will be parked out front at 9 am Saturday! (Little coffee + book browsing? 💯)
We’re so grateful for all of the love, enthusiasm and excitement you all showed us this whole summer!! ☀️ ready to close up this super bright, super nostalgic week and usher in fall 🍂 👀

Our classic almond petit fours got their Scholastic Book Fair Week outfit (we’re planning our Y2K outfits for that pizza party!)🌈✨
New here and not sure what a petit four is? Ours are made with soft white sponge, a layer of thin, sweet buttercream, a double pour of sugar fondant, and the tiniest rainbow swirl on top!
We’re channeling all of our Lisa Frank dreams this week, and have a ton of desserts read to go in the case - open 10–5 today 💖
