Thursday, October 22, 6 to 9 PM. Philippe's W**e Cellar hosts Raise a Glass, Pour It Forward, a silent auction benefiting Miles Perret Cancer Services. Admission is free. Every winning bid goes to MPCS, and so do the proceeds from every glass poured at the store that day.
Here is some of what will be on the auction table:
A four-course dinner for six at historic Brookshire Farm in Meaux, hosted by Ben and Anne Blanchet. Philippe and Sylvie Simon are seated at the table with the guests, and Philippe builds the w**e menu from the Blanchets' private collection.
A 1.5-liter bottle of 1999 Vincent Couche Sensation Ch*****ne.
A 3-liter double magnum of Bella Union 2017 Napa Valley Cabernet.
A 2000 Château Duhart-Milon from Pauillac.
Two private tastings for ten at Philippe's, each with six w**es, cheese, and charcuterie. One is donated by Adam Montgomery and Ryan Leblanc of Giles Automotive.
A Diamond Glow facial package for two from Lafayette Dermatology & Cosmetic Center.
A reformer class for you and four guests at In Balance Pilates.
Tickets for two to Chorale Acadienne's Christmas by Candlelight and spring concert.
A $100 gift card to The Back Nine Golf, opening soon next door.
