Have we mentioned that Jonathan is graduating? We're only a little excited. This means Sunday May 31, is our last roast for two weeks. If you need to adjust an autoship order you have until Friday May 29. Regular orders will be open until Saturday May 30 at Midnight.

Proud Parents here: Our favorite son and delivery driver is graduating high school in mere days. His graduation is June 7th, and in order to celebrate him, we will not be roasting that weekend. Autoship customers please make any adjustments by Friday May 29th. We will roast Sunday May 31 and deliver June 1 and we will be back in action again Sunday June 14th with deliveries June 15th. Every once in awhile Big E is out of town over the weekend. This means I'm in charge of roasting all the coffee by myself. I know how to do it. And Everette has put a lot of systems in place to make it as easy as possible. But It definitely makes me anxious. And I don't really relax until the very last bag is filled. But this weekend I did it. Everything didn't go perfectly smoothly. But I didn't panic and I was able to figure it out. And even better I didn't set off the smoke detector. 😁😁

On days like this, my head asks for more coffee. So we often make a second pot to share. This one is 100% Lumberjack at 1 PM. Days like this are also good to start hardening off your plants. So hauled them up from the basement. Chad Evans already has his tomatoes in the ground. This is why we love his garden posts. Listen, this is the kind of gardening info we are looking for. We can find the yearly averages and the "safe" planting range. But we want to know which of our plants are in jeopardy by late frosts and how early can we fill our flower pots. Chad Evans Weather has even more specific helpful information in his substack article.
And because of it, I think I might get my flowers planted before mother's Day. 😘
