Red Wagon Farm

Red Wagon Farm Growing vegetables for Boulder County since 2004. Farm Store at 1640 W Baseline Road, Lafayette We produce over 100 different vegetables and herbs.

Red Wagon Farm is a 30 acre vegetable farm that only sells locally. We started farming in 2004. We sell direct to consumer though our amazing CSA providing veggies for a 23 week season. There are several Boulder pickup locations and an on farm pickup as well. Our quality is always extremely high. The cultivars we grow are grown for great taste. We no longer attend any farmers markets. We do sell t

o a few local restaurants. Our CSA is the only way to get what we grow other than dining out at restaurants we sell to.

I don’t know if it gets us out of the woods but this heavy wet snow sure does help! I’ve never been so happy to see mud!

It’s go time at the farm! Kai has been busy since March 2 filling up the greenhouse. We grow 250,000-300,000 seedlings each season! 😳 Good thing Kai can plant about 100 seeds per minute using our pneumatic seeder. Today she started about 8,000 cabbage, lettuce, and pepper seeds!

Some of the seedlings are ready to go and next week Javier, Travis, and Gabino will be planting fennel and lettuce seedlings out in the fields!

Our CSA starts May 26 and there’s still time to sign up for a share at https://redwagonfarmboulder.com/csa/

You will likely see some amount of carrots, beets, and celeriac show up, but we don’t quite know where yet. Everyone likes surprises, right?! Thanks for a fabulous season everyone!
