Today, we celebrate an incredible career and an even better man, Clay Fasnacht.
 
For nearly 46 years, Clay has been a part of the Schilling Distributing family. Starting here at just 18 years old, this has been his one and only career, and what a legacy he leaves behind. From stacking beer in the warehouse and selling off the truck, to Special Services, Sales, and eventually Sales Manager, Clay has done it all, and done it with humility, dedication, and heart.
 
But Clay’s impact goes far beyond job titles. Over the years, he has built lifelong friendships with coworkers, customers, and partners alike. Whether in the office, out in the market, or on a hunting or fishing trip, Clay has always had a way of bringing people together. He’s been a mentor to many, a steady leader, and someone who has consistently shown what it means to put God first in both life and work.
 
While Friday marks his official retirement, we all know Clay isn’t going too far. We’re proud to announce his new title: Director of Fun — where he’ll continue helping with special events and making sure the good times keep rolling!
 
Clay, thank you for your loyalty, leadership, friendship, and nearly 46 years of service to Schilling Distributing. Your impact on this company and the people in it will be felt for generations to come.
 
Congratulations on an amazing career and this well-earned next chapter. Cheers to our Bud Man! 🍻
