Three Leaf Farm Urban farm in Lafayette, CO. Farm stand, farm dinners, workshops, weddings, and more. Public Road.

Our pretty little organic farm is located in Lafayette on the corner of 287 and S. On our 10 acres nestled agains the Coal Creek, we grow over 100 varieties of delicious vegetables, fruits, and herbs, all destined for the tables of our six Boulder area restaurants.

Happy first day of summer!!! Here’s all of our fav clips of a successful spring!!
Spring recap:
Restored a hoophouse complete with new plastic and it now is the home for 6 rows of peppers 🌶️
Seeded, then uppotted, then planted 5,000+ peppers and maybe 300 tomatoes 🍅
Seeded and transplanted many brassicas
Sweated maybe 500 gallons of sweat
Hoped for rain, didn’t seem to really worked
Made flower pots for the restaurants
Played in the creek
Hosted many events including a wedding!
Went to the Lafayette Colorado Farmers Market mm maybe 6 times ? Don’t fact check that
Harvested lots of spring veggies
Pulled like 100 billion pounds of weeds, do fact check me on that - seems accurate to me
Ate approximately 3 boxes of popsicles

You already know that this is just an excuse to post these beautiful butterfly photos!! This is one of the first butterflies we’ve seen this season and it has us so excited for the beautiful summer season!!! This is a female swallowtail that we saw drinking up some water while we were actively planting flower seeds in our newly named “butterfly garden”🪏(I named it that- let’s hope it catches on) We planted zinnias, statice, calendula, cosmos, and lots of sunflowers!!

The Botanica Marketplace is open to the public on June 27 & 28 at Three Leaf Farm from 10am - 3pm. Visit local artists and makers with booths celebrating the way the People and Plants interact! This is one of the highlights of the Botanica Festival and all are welcome!

Shenanigans
Finally got all of our peppers and tomatoes out in the field
Cabbages and broccolis are doubling in size almost every week!!!!
Harvesting lots of things for Lafayette Colorado Farmers Market including but not limited to kale, carrots, herbs, lettuce, radishes, turnips, arugula, daikon
Weeding, weeding and guess what - more weeding
Unboxing our new salad spinner, her name is salandra
Daily check ups on our snapping turtle, Trixie
Planted appropriately 15 beds of lettuce
Got the hoop houses planted with tomatoes and peppers
Planting flowers for the butterflies 🦋
