I finished this one last night, and I think it fits our Dolly-inspired night perfectly—wildflowers, butterflies, a little sparkle, and lots of personality!

But this night is going to be about more than creating something pretty. ❤️

📚 Bring a NEW children’s book with you! We’ll be collecting books to donate to children right here in our local community.

🎨 BEGINNERS WATERCOLOR WORKSHOP

Have you ever wanted to try watercolor but weren’t sure where to start? This workshop is for you!

We’ll take it step-by-step, and you can choose the option that makes you most comfortable:

Option 1: I’ll provide a light pencil sketch ready for you to paint.

Option 2: Want to learn a little more? I’ll show you how to create a quick, simple sketch and then we’ll bring it to life with watercolor.

🎨 Your project will be painted on 5” x 7” watercolor postcard stock, making it perfect to frame, display, or give as a little handmade gift.

As always, we provide everything you need—just come ready to Gather & Create!

And one of my favorite things about these projects? You’ll take your finished watercolor home with you that day, just like most of our Art & Hammer Co. projects.

No experience needed. Seriously. Beginners are exactly who this workshop is for! ❤️

Events Season is upon us! Lots to do and see and experience in Downtown LaFayette this month.

Our girl Honey + June is having her Fall Open House TODAY starting at 5pm, lots of great giveaways and doorbusters - it's sure to be a great way to start off your labor day.

Trivia Night at The Crushed Tomato of LaFayette is the 3rd Tuesday of every month, grab a team of any size, and have a great night out.

The Marsh House of LaFayette has their annual Heritage Day. Tons of authentic arts and crafts, a bake sale, and a vintage yard sale. Go support the work they are doing to remember our local history.

Our local Faith Community is bringing back Community Faith Night on September 25th. Those of you who have been calling for Christian Music Nights -- this is for you!

The Outpost with City of LaFayette, GA - Parks and Recreation is celebrating school being out on September 25th with a day of Rock Climbing instruction (just $5 sign up at: https://bit.ly/APoutside) free slacklining from 8-12pm, and Free Rentals from the Outpost until 7pm. Take advantage of the day off of school and spend it at Traverse Park.

Music on Main ft. Bryanna Fuquea and Lone Cove is coming to the Downtown Commons on September 25th at 7pm. This is a FREE concert presented by yours truly. Make sure to grab some food from some of our local restaurants and SUPPORT LOCAL

And we're SUPER excited about opening weekend of MACBETH at Mars Theater. We are so lucky to have this all-star cast. Some of Chattanooga's most well-known actors, in an excitingly modern adaptation that takes place in 1944 Bellevue Hospital. Tickets on sale now at historicmars.com
