Sunday story ;
What a blessed week. I was gifted with ample time to unwind and rejuvenate. It was incredible that I finally got to sit down and have meaningful conversations with myself and God. I am committed to making more time available for Him so that I can hear His guiding voice. Thankfully, the ACT team has been instrumental in helping me navigate my inner self. Anyways, I am here to write something inspiring.
As you all know we do every Saturday market, yesterday was a little challenging for my faith, but then a woman came and bought almost 50$ worth of food from us and she was supposed to send me the Venmo which she said she did. We usually trust everyone so I didn’t really care, after a few minutes I opened the app and the payment didn’t go through. I went around and looked for her and I refreshed the app, I lost her and the payment. It was a little disappointing, my husband said it’s ok don’t worry and pray about it, i sit down for a second and just said God you got it. It was such a relief from the pressure. I know I laughed at myself. I went around looking for her. I should have done it before doing all this. That movement my worry was that.
Right sometimes we can’t find the peace where we are we always go around look for it and end of the day I found our self where we left from.
Someone came by and said to me, oh my goodness, you all are so strong in the faith, I told them I had just lost that a few minutes ago, but thank you for the reminder, we always forget that the seed of strength we have in our life is a gift, we always need someone who can uplift us, that's the power of community, friends, or partners.
If you are searching for peace everywhere else, pause for a moment and search within your heart first. True peace is not found in places, possessions, or people—it is found in God's presence. When we surrender our worries, fears, and plans to Him, peace begins to fill the spaces that anxiety once occupied. Before looking anywhere else, look to God. The peace you are seeking may already be waiting for you in prayer, faith, and trust.
You will keep in perfect peace.
