📍 My aunt had taken me to a small mochi donut shop — and what caught my attention wasn’t just how good the donuts tasted, but the line of people out the door, all waiting to buy boxes of them. They weren’t just purchasing a treat; they

were experiencing something special. Having grown up around family-owned donut shops, I’d seen firsthand how something as simple as a donut could bring people together. But this experience made me realize that even the familiar can become something greater when reimagined with creativity and care. That moment sparked the idea for Domochi (Donut + Mochi), a brand built on transformation and inspiration. If a simple donut could become something extraordinary, then maybe it could inspire people to see that they can too. Today, Domochi exists to share that feeling of turning sweetness into something meaningful. Every donut we make is crafted to bring joy, connect communities, and remind people that greatness often starts with small, simple moments.

it's been almost 6 months since starting up, and it has been such an amazing journey thus far.

the domochi food trailer will be the last stepping stone before we finally move into a full-blown commercial space (gonna be a while lol).

thank you to everyone for your support on this journey to bringing domochi to life! it's been only a few months, and we're one step closer to having a real domochi brick and mortar.
