CDM Farmers Market Vendors Deserve Better!
As a vendor of over 12 years, I was shocked to learn that one of the newest vendors — Chaupain Bakery — submitted a letter “strongly recommending” a new market operator that runs markets in Apple Valley, not Orange County.
The owner has never personally worked the market, and his business was the last vendor approved before the transition. Yet his letter was used to help justify a decision that excluded longtime vendors from participating.
Support local? Yes. But supporting a vendor that supports removing the very community that welcomed them? That’s a different story.
Know the facts. Then decide where your dollars go.
