While waiting for my ride, someone heard my voice and asked:

“You the one doing the Olowalu videos?”

I pointed at Cari and said, “Ask Cari. He knows. He starred in one of the reels.” 😂🤙🏼

Kaleo told me he passes by Olowalu while driving Uber.

I told him next time, bring your people in! 🤙🏼

Just after landing on Maui, I ran into a couple of people I know from the store.

Always nice to see familiar faces before I even make it out of the airport. 🌺🤙🏼

Carsten and Chris stopped by Olowalu and decided to try our Shaka Bites.

When I asked why, their answer was simple:

Larry and Quinn from Papakōlea Homestead cruised by Olowalu for some grindz.

Larry is currently living on Maui and working at Kamehameha Schools Maui, and Quinn came over for a visit.

Growing up, getting to peek into the cockpit and see the captain was always a big deal for me. So getting a chance to talk story with the captain of our flight home and do a quick video with him was pretty special.

Then we stepped onto the plane.

Dominique, a flight attendant from Wailuku, noticed my Olowalu shirt, greeted me with a hug, and started talking story.

A few moments later she said:

“Olowalu has the best hot dogs in the world.” 🌭🤙🏼

She even threw up a 🫶.

After I busted out my phone and started filming, I thought maybe she knew us from social media.

It turns out she didn’t. She just knew Olowalu and had some really kind things to say. ❤️

Later, she looked up our page and found the captain’s post for herself. 😂🤙🏼

Many of you probably remember her as our unofficial Olowalu greeter, always ready with a smile and a warm hello.

Jeannine insisted we had to stop at Mike’s Shave Ice after breakfast.

I’m thinking, “What? I can get shave ice at home.” 😂

Then we pulled up and there was a line.

Now, I don’t mind waiting in line. Usually, if people are willing to wait, there’s a reason. 🤙🏼😂

So we waited.

And you know what?

It was SO worth it! 🍧🔥🙌

With summer around the corner and shave ice season coming up, it was fun seeing so many people lined up and excited for their treat.

It’s been ages since I’ve had a shave ice, and this one hit the spot. 🍧

We were at a family dinner in Tacoma, Washington, celebrating after graduation when I spotted Lemo wearing his Olowalu shirt.

Aunty’s on vacation, but I still film. 😂 So I busted out my phone.

Most people get a little shy when the camera comes out.

Not Lemo. 😂🤙🏼

Love seeing where the shirts end up after people leave the store.
