Our pineapples are the Maui Gold variety!!!
The Maui Gold variety is gonna be way sweeter than the pineapples you have probably tried in stores. That’s gonna be because these have a way lower bromine content! You know when you bite into a pineapple and you get that tingling sensation in your mouth? That’s gonna be due to the bromine.

This is our Traveler’s Palm!! It is native to Madagascar. It also appears in the movie Madagascar as King Julian’s crown!! It is called the Traveler’s Palm for 2 reasons. Reason number 1 is that each of the fronds holds up to a quart of water in areas with heavy rainfall. So these trees were a great source of fresh water for travelers. Reason number 2 is that it used to be believed that these trees only pointed from east to west, so travelers would use these for navigation. That theory has since then been debunked, so unfortunately many people probably got very lost trying to use this tree for navigation.
