Wild Harvested Organic Raw Honey
Part of what we do at Twelve Lives Honey is relocate bees that are in inconvenient locations for people, such as the walls of their homes, eves of their garages, or inside trees near a home’s entrance. If a hive is new, there will be little or no honey to be recovered with the bees, and even if there is some honey, very often we harvest it and feed it right back to the bees in their new home to get them started. Sometimes, however, we get into hives that have been in a location long enough to establish a big store of extra honey. In these cases, once we’ve made sure that the bees have enough to get re-established in their new home, we take the remainder and bottle it up.
This honey is nothing at all like what you get in the store. No heat. Lots of suspended pollen. It’s as pure as the bees can make it, and we do as little as possible to change that. The best expression of that is our wild harvested honeycomb -- When you crack open a honeycomb cell and the honey comes out, you're the first human to ever contact it, or even see it directly. It's the ultimate proof that the honey is unadulterated in any way!

Twelve Lives now manages hives in three locations, two of which we currently have bottled and ready for sale. The first is right here at our home apiary at Hale Inana, and the second is up on Gunstock Ranch. Twelve Lives Honey manages its hives using the best practices available to raise happy bees with as little intervention as possible. The honey is kept in as raw of a state as possible, with no heat, and no removal of pollen. You won’t find a sugary sweet that’s better for you anywhere!
