Farm Fun 🤩
86° feels like 89°. Staying in…Until…
I went to get the mail. Looking straight into the garage (two doors open because it gets well over 100° in there) and I see what looks like a dark partial curtain on the back door.
Go in, and it’s a sneaky swarm of honeybees! They were probably attracted to empty hive supers’ aroma. One box had an opening with a bunch of scouts in it so I hauled it out the front and around to the back door pad. I’m dripping sweat and DO NOT want to put my bee suit on. So we hauled all pieces around to the pad, assembled, left all a bit open so they choose this for their new hive. 🤞
John looped a string on the door to pull it open as I quickly turned the k**b. A whole bunch dropped, as we expected (but not on me). Now pray they love this for their new home. I will update tomorrow. 🐝 🐝🐝🐝
**Their bunched up ball in the center tells me the queen is in the middle of the ball.
